This year Black History Month’s theme is “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” to recognize the 100th anniversary of the first Negro History Week founded by Carter G. Woodson in 1926. The title, Savannah Footprints by DJ Bwakali, covers 100 African leaders that approximately span this time period, from the late 1800’s to present day.
